Dog Breed Pomeranian Pure Bred Puppy
65Pomeranians Have a Beautiful Nature and Temperament
Are you a dog lover? Have you felt the tickle of a pomeranian's tongue inside your ear? Have you slept soundly with dogs nearby, knowing that you have a strategic advanced early warning system? An alarm set for 4:30 am? Welcome to the hub page of Jayjay and Pad Thai.
We bought two pomeranian puppies last year, one a male, Jayjay, and the other a female puppy, Pad Thai. They have distinctly different personalities. Jayjay is a typical boy: high energy, adventurous, loving and loyal. He takes on much larger dogs and always seems to get the last bite in! He cocks his head at an angle as he gazes with curiosity into your face as you speak. He tries to get under the bed sheets and become a total and equal human being. He attached extremely strongly to the mother figure from the very start but loves long walks into the bushland tracks with Dad, too. He guards the 5 acre property and doesn't trust strangers, even fronting up to shout at our neighbors.
Pad Thai is a slender, long legged female pomeranian just coming into adolescence. She is loving and quicker to return to me during a walk out into the surrounding bush. Pad Thai is extremely smart and stops to think her way through a difficulty or a problem, whereas Jayjay will tend to use more brute energy. They make a complete couple and amorous advances are already frequently under way. They often lick each other's lips when they meet in dog kisses. They are able to work together as a pack towards winning a goal. Beautiful and loyal creatures.
Pictures speak volumes so please find the dog slideshow controls just below and Jayjay will show you how he loves to dress up for social occasions. As I write the two dogs are lying on the carpet in my office, within arm's reach and whenever I stand up they will get up too and follow me to the end of The Earth. I do recommend the pomeranian breed. Highly recommended for both families and for elderly people because they'll keep YOU energetic too and add, say 10 years to your happiness.

A brief history of the pomeranian breed of dogs notes that pomeranians were originally bred in Germany with the idea of developing a genetic variant ideally suited to royalty. The dogs were later taken to England where further selective breeding took place.
In England, in the nineteenth century, Queen Victoria championed the breed and drew a lot of attention to the pomeranian. (The name actually refers to Pomerania, an area previously including Poland and Germany.)
There are two distinct types of pomeranians. One is smaller, very long haired and looks like a circular ball of fluff. It can be white or white streaked with black or brown. The other type of pomeranian is ours - featured in the slide show here. It is sandy, cream gold to reddish brown and has a longer nose. This second type is often cross bred with other dog varieties.
